The Bridge between Ourselves and Our Dreams

You know, the problem with me is I just get bored easily. Not much is catching my attention out there in books or what is on TV or in film. It just seems like I want more. I want something that is real that brings me to a depth of understanding more about myself than I had before I read it, watched it or listened to it.
As a healer, I began to wonder how I could bring people to a greater awareness of who and why they are without writing an article on the Five Steps to Blah, Blah, Blah that you all have heard before or know about but doesn’t create the impact needed to rock your world into the shift of creation.
Now, I am not going to make the assumption that I am that answer to bringing you into greater depths of awareness. God knows, I got my issues to face. Besides, Guru ship makes me what to choke. But I thought that I would begin to bore the masses and, not just my family and friends, by bringing you into my psychological processes as a trance channel. Maybe you all can relate. Maybe there will be something in my own ceaseless struggles that will give you that oh sought after mental “O” moment (no, not Ophrah) that says “aha, I have been there, I get that. I understand. Or, maybe. I can just entertain you.
First off, my friends, there are no five easy steps. Looking into the creative depths of your emotions (or energy in motion) is a multidimensional process that needs an avenue that bypasses the wonderful watchful observer of your ego. If you are drawn to dreams, like I am, that is a great place to start. Your unconscious doesn’t care about your ego and is going to tell you the truth, albeit unpleasant though it may be.
I had this dream where I was watching two men, side by side in bowling lanes bringing down the lane a large, round dense cloud of energy, like a large bowling ball. In the dream, I immediately knew it was chi, or life force energy. One man who was intensely focused and serious brought the chi to him, the other man did not. Three quarters down the lane, the chi disappeared for the younger man. The younger man, who looked like a former coworker, Eric (ah, yeah, that’s the ticket), shrugged his shoulders, gave up after the chi disappeared and walked over to where I was seated on a bench observing the men. I was seated on a lovely, iron filigree bench that I had moved over to the side of the bowling lanes with my ability to levitate objects.
In the next segment of this dream, I went with Eric who wanted me to go the bank with him. Even in the dream, I reflected that this was wrong headed, I knew I was making the wrong choice to accompany him. The dream changes again and Eric is smiling and hugging me and telling me how much he missed me. Again the dream changes and I am looking at a lifeless baby in a bassinet and heard a dream voice say “the baby is 30 to 40 percent rotten”.
Yikes! Well, that dream woke me up. What was this? What did that loud, bodiless, telepathic message mean? I immediately noticed I wanted to suppress the complicated series of energetic (or emotional) responses that were consciously occurring in my waking state. I was feeling alarmed, concerned and in shock about the voice that was so strong in my dream talking about the baby. I was also very disturbed at looking at a lifeless baby.
In my dreams, the people and shadowy, unformed presences that are represented have their real life counterparts. They come forth in all of their glory to play their roles to show us in this earth plane dimension how we are carrying our energies.
For me, babies represent something new, new relationships, new projects or new ideas. Does this mean my new project will not thrive?
After my strong, first cup of coffee, and fighting my impulses to squelch the dream, I began to analyze the dream. In the dream, I was making a choice to be with an ineffective male who was not bringing in the chi. Then, I was not utilizing my naturally creative balanced female and male energy, represented by levitating the pretty iron bench. In fact, I was using this ability of levitating the bench to observe others. My dream was pointing out I could move the bench easily and I could sit down on it and it would support me! Ok, I could easily move energy, I could own it and it would support me. Ah hah! Double meaning (watch those puns in dreams!) This particular ability could support me financially. Ok, now what, got that part. What happened next? Eric then proceeded to take me to the bank. Ah puns in dreams, I love them. Of course, he could bank on me, I could effortlessly move the strong, secure iron bench that anyone could settle down on, whereas he could not bring in the chi. However, I was allowing myself to be taken to the bank, to be exploited, even though I knew it was not the right choice! Furthermore, I wasn’t taking decisive actions to stop this relationship from going further. I just stood by while I allowed him to what? Snow me, by telling me he ‘missed me’ as though he really did care for me? But, wait you know what the real clincher is? All of these choices, these energetic choices on my part, was making the baby rotten! I had to align my energies for myself and with myself as modeled to me by the serious man who brought in the chi. And not only that, I had to own all of my innate abilities as a trance channel. With my balanced male and female energy, I can move energy to me and manifest. I no longer have to observe people doing what I could do. Focusing and owning my creative energies will nourish the baby so that it could be vital.
Knowing that dream states carry energy of people and situations that are represented in real life, I began to watch for ahh, yeah, “Eric”. It did not take long for the real life counterpart in my dream to show up. The dream was both a warning and also a solution for me in terms of where to place the focus for my energy and how to deal with Eric. My relationship with Eric was formally ended.
Working on this dream, helped me begin to align with my natural ability to move energy. I wanted to move the energy of the new project I was working on toward completion. Through the concentrated, intense watching of my energy each moment in each waking day, I began to enlarge my capacity for bringing in the energy of chi, which meant full ownership of my abilities of who I am, which would complete my new project. I also added the energy of completion with the energy of chi.
I had another dream, this time of a man in the audience seated to the left of me while we were watching the beginning of a stage production. He was trying to sell me a line of crap. He was a producer and wanted me to go with him to produce a production. But in this dream, I wasn’t buying it. Prior to meeting this man, I was connected to a trustworthy woman producer. In this dream, I went with the female producer. Good choice, I reflected when I awoke. I am producing with my feminine energy to get my project completed and in real life I am connected to a woman producer, whom my unconscious tells me, is trustworthy.
In the next segment of the dream, was a table. On one side was my stepfather. A man who, in waking life, was very destructive and controlling. Across from me was on unformed woman. I was sitting across from the unformed woman. More work. I need to know who that unformed woman is, to incorporate that energy of the unformed Self, which will paradoxically, release the critical observance of my stepfather. I never allowed that part of me to exist because of fear. Now, I am safe to explore and to exist.
You may not want to know yourself this intensely. But if you really want to know how you are creating your life, what energies are within your psyche that are being reproduced in your day to day living, begin to look at your life without your ego. Begin to delve deep into your unconscious where all of your energies, past, present and future lie creating your life, whether you like it or not.
Maybe people ask me, what is my life purpose. The subtext to this question is “why don’t I feel meaningful?” The answer inside of you is “what is keeping you feeling meaningless?” What energetic alignments have you made unconsciously that have kept you from having the true force of your energy shining through you?
Well, ok, how do you find out about your energetic alignments? The answer is how aware are you of your dreams? Journal them and write them down as though you are telling yourself a story. In the story of your dream, notice that there is both a problem and a solution. Then begin to notice how your dreams are like the people and experiences in your life. Jot that down. What do your dreams tell you about you and how you have manifested your life? What solutions lie in your dreams? Your dreams will tell you how to focus your energy in the most optimum way to expand and create your world.
Looking at who you really are in your dream state is not easy. But you can know. Are you ready to make your dreams come true?
